VISUAL ELECTRICAL SAFETY SURVEY |

Our comprehensive Survey (which uses a 50 point
check list) covers an inspection of the complete
electrical installation (e.g. consumer unit and its
installation, earthing and bonding, outside supplies
etc.), and all accessories (e.g. extractor fans,
light and wall fittings, showers, central heating
components and so on). It provides a 'safety score'
for faults and indicates the cost of remedial work
by a suitably qualified electrical contractor.
Our Survey can quickly identify if any below
standard works have been carried out and
particularly assesses whether any DIY workmanship is
evident. Experience shows that these types of
installation are UNSAFE and can cost hundreds of
pounds to put right.
If you are a homebuyer the clear message here is to
know exactly what you are buying! More often than
not, buyers only learn of problems once they move
in.
The Survey is clearly written and offers sensible
advice in a non-technical manner.
Please note that the survey is a 'Visual' and is not
a test. If testing is required (sometimes requested
by Lenders, Surveyors or Solicitors on behalf of
their clients) then a NICEIC Periodic Inspection
(full electrical circuitry test) is required. |
